Light blue and teal toned abstract contemporary painting by Houston, TX artist, Scott Woodard. This painting depicting authorities chasing a robber on a black getaway vehicle has a few surrealistic and dream-like elements to it such as the paper planes with boat motors and a flying flamingo. Signed by the artist at the bottom right.
Artist Biography: Scott Woodard is a local Houston, TX artist who has exhibited in a variety of Houston galleries since 2007. He was a regular at the annual Dia de Los Muertos exhibit put on by the Lawndale Art Center through the mid to late 2000s. While his work had been focused on sepia tones, he has recently taken his art in a new direction exploring pastel surrealist landscapes.
