We are selling this large attractive landscape painting. This painting is signed in the lower right Moran and dated 1866 and has plaque titling it "U.S. Coast Guard" by Edward Moran. This great painting features a tranquil post Civil War scene of a Shepherd tending his flock along the coast. Heavy losses and flaking with some repairs.
Condition: Many areas of flaking and loss to paint with some simple repairs. It is in okay condition but would benefit from a professional restoration.
