Heisey Glass Co. made this form from … Read more This is an antique Heisey #465 recessed panel lidded candy or apothecary jar. Heisey Glass Co. made this form from 1915- 1932. The lid is decorated with gold and enamel painted pink flowers on a black ground. The footed jar is in a popular pattern with recessed panels on the foot, body and lid. There is a band of enamel black paint heavily decorated with pink roses, blue and yellow flowers. The band is trimmed in gold. The jar is marked on the bottom with the Heisey “H.” Dimensions are 11” tall and 4.25” diameter. The condition is good antique/vintage condition with the exception of wear to the gold trim.
