in this precious oil on canvas, Salvatore Marinelli is inspired by the paintings of the Neapolitan school of the seventeenth century which had as one of the greatest exponents of nature posing the Master Giovan Battista Ruoppolo, whose style in painting still lifes was peculiarly marked by shades dark backgrounds and in some ways it is similar to some paintings of the same genre by Caravaggio.
