The chairs date … Read more This is a superb set of 6 English Regency mahogany and brass inlaid side or sofa chairs. The chairs date to the early 19th century. The beautifully carved rope crest rail combined with the brass inlaid center splat indicates a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The chairs are in very good overall condition; the seats have been re-caned. Our upholsterer is currently creating new squab cushions in a khaki mohair velvet. We have listed a Regency 53" x 47" Breakfast Table separately. The table will coordinate well with this set of chairs. See less
