Blenko … Read more A mid-20th century slip-cast ecru ceramic ashtray filled with crushed glass, created by American ceramic artist Robert Maxwell (1932-2020). Blenko Glass Company provided Maxwell the glass, the brilliant cerulean blue color from the company's turquoise range. There is a production flaw in the ceramic, near the rim, that appears to have occurred during the firing, there are no cracks or chips. Robert Maxwell signature on underside. See less
