When her father retired, her family moved to Ligerz. Otto found work in the watch industry, but increasingly turned to painting. He took painting lessons in Belgium and Paris for long periods. Thanks to his training as a painter, he was able to live from his painting and he lived in Twann. In addition to his artistic work, Otto was a competent businessman. After the death of his parents, he moved to his parents' house in Ligerz, where he died at the age of 87. This piece has an attribution mark,
