Dutch silver sugar and cream set, van kempen & zn, voorschoten, 1889. Silver sugar bowl, raised on a round foot and openwork with pearl pattern rims and handles. A milk jar with scrolled leaf pattern ear handle is also in the same pattern, date and maker the silver set is marked with the dutch silver hallmark and is made by fa. J.m. Van kempen & zn, voorschoten, worked in the period 1858-1924. Dated with the year letter e for the year 1889. The silver content is 835/1000 (hall mark lion 2). Master sign by van kempen & zn, voorschoten the sugar spoon with pearl edge is made of silver, marked with the dutch hall mark lion 2 ( 835/1000), year letter x for 1882. Minerva head (office mark) master sign is from adrianus kuijlenburg. The sugar bowl is 10 cm high, 15,5 cm wide and the depth is 10,5 cm. The total weight is 300 grams. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
