A German silver bread bowl by Wilkens & Söhne with a rectangular shape. It has a round shape bread bowl in Art-Deco style in a hammered pattern. The age is approximately from the 1920s Germany. The Mastering "screw press" has been the master stamp of Martin Heinrich Wilkens & Söhne, silver factory in Bremen since about 1886. The crescent and crown mark is the national mark of Germany, used for German silver from 1886. The dimensions are in cm: Height 4.5 x Width 39.5 x Depth 19.5. The weight is 372 grams. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
