The Venezuelan Artist. Julie Hermoso has lots of good energy to share. This quirky painting is full of spirit and fun. The gestural figures set a vibrant tone along with the array of saturated colors. The use of warm pigments, such as red, orange, and yellow are paired together with deep greens, purple and blue. The simple massing of the figures shape is created with textured brush strokes and intricate detailing. Layers of different textures compliment one another to construct the background of this piece, adding depth and drama. Mixed Media: Acrylic and oil. The beautiful painting is not stretched. It’s signed by the artist.
