The pitcher is decorated with … Read more Exquisite and large French Majolica kingfisher pitcher by Saint Clement in Luneville circa early 1900s. The pitcher is decorated with a colored kingfisher flying over a pond with water lilies. The background is a light teal and white with a design to simulate ripples of water. The kingfisher and the flowers are in a deep and light purple, lilac, yellows and browns and so are the water lilies.

Same decorations on each side. White and pale pink inside

Signed under the base KG for Keller & Guerin, SCT for Saint Clement and numbered 415 and 7340, S-K. There are some minor nicks as shown on the images, one on the rim which is the biggest one, some spots on one of the water lilies which may be from manufacturing and one on the handle. This is a very collectable item and highly searched for.
