The base is stamped "Wedgwood, Made in England" and "73", it also has an A and GT which from what I have read are marks that identify the potter for payment.

1908-1969: Marks are "Wedgwood", "Made in England", separated, or "Wedgwood England" on small objects like thimbles. After 1929 the typeface of the word "Wedgwood" is changed to sans serif. This one is pre 1929 since the word Wedgwood is in a serif typeface. Jasperware is unglazed, which gives it a matte finish, and features a colored background with decoration in white relief. The designs on jasperware commonly, although not always, drew their inspiration from ancient Greek and Etruscan pottery, reflecting the neoclassical movement that reached its peak in the second half of the eighteenth century.

This box is in good condition with little to no signs of age.
