Each table lamp has two pieces curved to resemble lily pads. Each section takes one light bulb. The sleek and simple design would complement any decor style. The partial Curtis Jere signature is on the base, although most has worn away. I am the original owner and purchased the lamps in 1980.
Curtis Jere is a metalwork company and the name is actually a combination of the names of artists Curtis (Kurt) Freiler and Jerry Fels. The company was founded in 1963, and Kurt and Jerry sold the company in 1972.
There are some imperfections, including surface scratches and scuffs. Please refer to the pictures. It was challenging to photograph the shiny brass surface. Each lamp is sturdy and weighs 7.8 lbs. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Disclaimer for vintage electric lamps: Although I have checked, only lamp is working, I have not checked to make sure that the wiring is perfectly safe for use.
