Very decorative magazine holder kangaroo designed by Dimitri Omersa for Abercrombie and Fitch, c. 1960s. These leather animals were retailed by Abercrombie and Fitch and were made by various companies in England and Spain.
Dimitri Omersa is known for mostly the rhino, pig, hippo, footstools, this is a more rare example of his work. The kangaroo is made of full grain cowhide leather that is tanned especially for use for these kind of animals. It is filled with hay. This item is in good original condition. Great patina.
This is a highly collectible and original piece. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
