Floor lamp 'coupé 3320' designed by joe colombo in 1967. Floor lamp giving direct light, metal lacquered base and structure, revolving and height adjustable chromium-plated arc, lacquered aluminium reflector. Manufactured by oluce, italy. It was 1967 when joe colombo designed coupé, at the apex of a decade marked by his close collaboration with oluce. Initially designed as a variant of the spider theme, over the years coupé was produced in different versions and became one of oluce’s most popular and best known collections. Today a full-fledged icon of lighting and italian design, in 1968 coupé was awarded in chicago the international design award by the american institute of interior designers. The lamp is included in the permanent collections of–among others–new york’s moma and the neue sammlung museum in munich. To celebrate coupé’s 50th anniversary, oluce has created a special edition of an object that stood the test of time and fashions to become a classic of interior design. The new version of the classic floor lamp style produced by oluce is available in a limited edition of 500 numbered pieces, featuring a sleek, gold trimmed finish and the 50th anniversary engraving on the base. Oluce’s expertise reveals its unparalleled manufacturing excellence which transforms into objects an untiring technological research into the potential of light. Each lamp is a milestone along this journey. Over time, from unusual materials, original designs and new lighting sources ensued revolutionary iconic designs by tito agnoli, joe colombo, marco zanuso, ostuni e forti, and vico magistretti, who since the 50s, have been rewriting the history of lighting. Recent collections reaffirm oluce design and decorative approach, expressed through the signs by italian and international designers such as angeletti & ruzza, francesco rota, nendo, victor vasilev, nicola gallizia, christophe pillet, mist-o and david lopez quincoces. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. official proof of authenticity,

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
