This antique cupboard cabinet from France features a beautifully molded and elongated arch shaped cornice which rests upon a tall case that is fitted with a single door (which opens to reveal adjustable shelving for storage within), with a carved skirt, and raised on cabriole carved legs. The top of the three-panel door mimics the gently arched shape of the cornice above, and has a carved diamond set within it's center. The cabinet retains it's original painted finish, which is primarily yellow and gold in color. This 19th century French cabinet, with its cheerful yellow coloring, stands approximately 7.25 feet tall, and would make a lovely pantry or cupboard for your kitchen, or perhaps a great storage piece for linens and toiletries in a bath or powder room.
