This is a pair of sensitively painted waterscapes of boats on the shore and boats in very rough seas. Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'In close quarters in the Channel off Dover' sold at Christie's South Kensington 'Maritime & Naval Battles (pictures)' in 2006 for $5,488. Condition: In really superb condition the paintings and frames having been beautifully cleaned, please see photos for confirmation.
