Truly amazing!!!This pair of lions make such a huge statement measuring in at 43”long by a grand 56” tall . These lions definitely are magnificent !!!!!!They were salvaged from the front of an old building in downtown Los Angeles. We have salvaged several lions in the past but never anything quite like this. These are the statues that you would see in front of the courthouse or public building. They are made from carved stone and so much detail and work went into making these lions. The lions were made to go on either side of the front entry door as guardians. They were hand carved separately one for the left and one for the right. Even their eyes contain the deepest detail as though they are literally staring at you. The lions mane looks as though it is flowing and somehow they were able to capture that with carved stone. All the way down to their tail and feet. You can tell that these are something very special and stand out above all the rest. These are what the reproductions are made to look like. We were unable to find a signature or any markings on them to narrow down their origin. The statues are museum quality and the pictures truly do not do them justice. they really do look like some thing that came out of a movie They are so amazing in person they are true to life. Unfortunately at some point through the years somebody has painted on their faces. There are a few nicks and a small break at the base but everything only consistent with age nothing that jeopardizes the integrity of the statues . Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
- Shipping charges start at $799 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
