Using only two-dimensional forms, the artist allows the flowers to burst out from the surface with a beautifully orchestrated use of light and colour. An eye-catching composition, full of life, which brings out the wonderful natural palette of the arrangement. This lithograph is labelled 'p.a.', which stands for 'prueba artista' in spanish, meaning 'artist proof'. Artist proofs are highly sought after, being rarer (and therefore more valuable) than other prints in the edition, particularly as they are often manipulated from the final edition, which creates a unique appearance from the rest of the prints.
