Graceful white cranes sporting a red crown perched on a windswept crabby tree with a red sun in the sky depict a common Japanese artistic theme in this vintage set. The set was purchased in Japan in the early 80's but it is made in Taiwan by the Tatung company which has been around since 1918. This set has never been used so it is in excellent vintage condition. The teapot has a smooth cane handle. The lidded cups will keep the tea warm. Both the teapot and the lids are gold rimmed. The tea pot has a 3.75" diameter and is 5.75" tall. Measuring the spout and cane handle, it measures 6" wide and 8" tall. The lidded cups have a 2.75" diameter and are 4" tall. See less
