Perfectly postmodern ceramic coffee/tea pot and sugar container designed by Massimo Materassi for MAS Italy in the 1980s. Glazed in a glossy white with a black, red, and gray pattern on the sides that is very reminiscent of Ettore Sottsass' iconic Bacterio pattern found on so many Memphis Milano pieces.
In very good vintage condition with slight wear consistent with age and use, including one 1/16th of an inch chip on the opening of the sugar container. Each piece is marked "MAS ITALY" on its underside.
