Alain carpentier's artistic expression and imagination are nourished by his numerous travels and the rich encounters that result from them. "my artistic approach? a technique that i call "the automatic line", essentially made with acrylic felt-tip pens and marked by black and white flat tints, glued materials such as zinc and leather constitute the identity of my work. White and black surfaces with repetitive lines, this writing is like a movement that does not support critical reflection.
