Murano "Barocchi" series by Barovier & Toso candle holder, Italy A beautiful Opal Art Glass of Murano Italy. Barocchi "Baroque series" Designed by Ercole Barovier (1889-1974) for Barovier & Toso. The white (light blue, translucent) Opal colored glass, which turns a beautiful darker blue in different light. A candle holder on 6 leaf-shaped feet with 4 twisted round ribbed arms with gold flakes around the stem ending in a curly Opal leaf. On the leafs a flower as holder for the candle "Baroque series" ca. 1948 The measurement is 33 cm high and 26 cm diagonal. The weight is 2097 grams. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
