An octagonal Austrian silver white enameled, inside gold-plated box made by Rudolf Steiner, 1899 The miniature portrait is Princess Sophie of Bavaria (1805-1872) after a painting by Joseph Karl Stieler in 1832 Archduchess of Austria, Sophie Friederike Dorothea Wilhelmine, daughter of King Maximilian. The portrait is behind faceted glass. The Austrian hallmarks are the Diana head Mark (1872-1922) 900/1000 Vienna The Master Mark R-S, Rudolf Steiner 1899. The measurements are 1.8 cm high, 7 cm wide and the depth is 9 cm- The weight is 177 gram. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
