Stunning gold guilted bronze water pitcher dating from around 1750 A.D.
Large barrel shaped body adorned with delicately added floral elements.
According to CoA (Certificate of Antiquity), this item has been made in the style of Sen Rikyu and bears the patterns of chrysanthemums, bell flowers, pampas grass, and bush clover.
It has age appropriate wear, tarnish, discoloration. Scuffs and scratches are visible.
The gold guilting is wearing off, certain parts have been polished smooth and shiny by use.
