I have always wanted to (and one day will) create a life-sized bull. This is one of the first bulls where I've introduced a red background. I think it makes it really stand out.

Bulls have always been known as the sign of strength, vitality and vigour. I grew up on a farm with a guard bull. We even had a name for it: Zumma. I have scary and fun memories of playing hide and seek with the gentle giant across an orchard on a hill. Sometimes, the things that you are scared of are also the things you are attracted to- the morbid curiosity. That is the story with the bull drawings. I identify with the bull for its energy and the rawness.
