Wall lamp 'coupé' designed by joe colombo in 1967. Wall lamp with chromium-plated stem, wall fixings lacquered and height adjustable reflector in lacquered aluminium. Manufactured by oluce, italy. The visionary and futuristic designer joe colombo designed the colombo lamp in 1970, on the wave of the rapid diffusion of the halogen light. The design is in fact one of the first domestic lamps to use the new type of bulb. The design of the colombo lamp – base, chrome stem and adjustable reflector – responds to the demands for clean shapes and technological functionality that go hand in hand with the concept and design of this great designer. Produced in several variants – floor, wall or ceiling lamp – the colombo family of products remains, even after more than 40 years, one of the top sellers from the oluce catalogue. To mark its 50th anniversary, colombo family was updated in modern led dimmer version. Oluce’s expertise reveals its unparalleled manufacturing excellence which transforms into objects an untiring technological research into the potential of light. Each lamp is a milestone along this journey. Over time, from unusual materials, original designs and new lighting sources ensued revolutionary iconic designs by tito agnoli, joe colombo, marco zanuso, ostuni e forti, and vico magistretti, who since the 1950s, have been rewriting the history of lighting. Recent collections reaffirm oluce design and decorative approach, expressed through the signs by italian and international designers such as angeletti & ruzza, francesco rota, nendo, victor vasilev, nicola gallizia, christophe pillet, mist-o and david lopez quincoces. Available in black color this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
