It was purchased while traveling in Spain in the 1960's and my family has enjoyed it for many decades. The unusual carved shape is ornate and beautiful. The religious subject matter is unknown, as is the text. This wall piece makes a statement with its weathered surfaces, painted wood, and gold. A beautiful find. See less
