Shungaboy is a Hell's Kitchen born NY artist. He has been drawing and painting since childhood. After a successful career as an architect he started focusing on his art. He knew that he wanted to become a full-time artist so he volunteered as an archivist at the Leslie-Lohman Art Foundation in NYC to see firsthand the work of other male figurative artists.
He works mostly in drawing groups throughout the US.
