This postmodern painting, from a period of reasoned fragmentation inspiration, is realized freehand with extraordinary skill typical of the work by Mattioli, this piece shows the use of a mixture of media: spray paint that is highlighted by watercolor accents and created with an optical technique so that the scene acquires a different depth depending on the visual angle, framed in a flat wood frame.
Luciano Mattioli was a very versatile and prolific artist on the Italian and French Design scene, a Product Designer for Philips and Grundig, and the exclusive Designer in the 1970s for the Italian Company Girmi. Exhibited in Milan during the 1980s in collaboration with Aldo Tura. See less
