Handcrafted of red pine native to the east coast of North America, this piece originates from the time of the American Civil War (1861-1865).

Wrought iron hinges and studded tacks add timeless character to this wonderfully preserved piece of history. Lined with a hard-stock floral covering on the inside, which could easily be removed, if desired.

Perfect heirloom quality piece to carry on a timeless colonial American tradition symbolizing hope and new beginnings.
