This lamp has become a design icon, with its mushroom shape and bright orange or white hues. Introduced in 1967, the Nessino was a marvel of ABS thermoplastic injection-molding, bringing industrial materials and methods to the home and office environments. With a dash of color and a design inspired from nature, Nessino fits into a wide range of interiors.

Born in 1933, Italian designer Giancarlo Mattioli was part of the Urban Architects Group “Città Nuova” - a union of young professionals established in the early 1960s in Bologna, Italy who decided to engage in architecture – and urban design – moving consciously away from the figure of the architect seen as an individual creator in order to listen to local communities and to work together.

Price is per item. Available in unlimited quantities in white or orange, as well as in a larger 'Nesso' model. Authorized re-edition with a 5- year manufacturer's warranty.

Accommodates 4x 60W equivalent candelabra (e12) LED bulbs (lower with incandescent). LED recommended by the manufacturer. On/off switch on cable. Not UL listed.
