It depicts a mother and her daughter having a coffee break together, the mom turning away from her reading material for a look out of the window, keeping her place in her book with her index finger, as her equally red-headed daughter concentrates on her studies. Masterful handling of the reflections in the glass, which turns the painting semi-abstract. $2,500 label from the tour still attached to back.
