Originally for harvesting grapes for champagne, it has a fantastic weathered patina. Its size and shape highlight the quality of craftsmanship involved in its creation. The original French champagne house initials and number are on the sides in vivid red paint and the top border is painted in blue. Reinforced with wicker bands around the sides and top & with wooden slats on the bottom. The substantial size of this basket makes it a perfect storage solution - whether its laundry, blankets, firewood, towels, sporting equipment or toys. A lovely and practical addition to the mud room, laundry room or even the play room.
