very attractive late 1800's genuine Tabreez from west part of Azerbaijan province. this came out from a very big estate … Read more very attractive late 1800's genuine Tabreez from west part of Azerbaijan province. this came out from a very big estate in CA, i was told that this rug has been in the estate since beginning of 2oth century. it used be laid down in their foyer , and reason that they choose to put the direction design because the entrance shape was kind of arch shape. this rug is more than 120 years old and as I have shown it shows some wear, despite of heavy traffic being on the foyer it does not show any unraveling, foundation threads & holes. Folks who are looking for antique this rug with worn out look this would be w great choice because is a true antique, interesting pattern and still has solid structure with both ends in good shape. Usually, is kind of difficult to find a directional antique rugs at this size because most of them come in 3'x5' or 4'x6'. if you refer to the closr uos pictures you will see a lot of different motifs in that pattern. The triangle shape picture shows many motifs even the lower portion looks like a face. Remember, this rug shows some wear not extensive wear and those who do not want to see any wear, please, do not bid on this rug, This rug is for those who want to have it in original condition without any repair & those who are after worn out look rugs.
