Landscape artwork, Art Deco, which represents a village with church. It also has an original lacquered frame.
The oil on pressed cardboard painting dates back to the twentieth Century.
The painting is not signed but it is the painter Paulette Genet (1890-1983), french painter of landscapes and still lifes.
Genet Paulette (1890-1983) was born in Strasbourg and was a Post-Impressionist painter. His teacher was Montézin.
He begins to exhibit in Paris in the "Salon des Artistes Français" since 1931 and gets a mention of honor in 1939.
He takes part in the "Salon des Artistes Indépendant". The ancient painting and the frame are restored.
