Unique pair of hand carved wooden sculptural table lamps made by gianni pinna. The wooden sculptures, lamps, are in great condition. No cracks nor damage. Please note that the two lamps differ slightly in color. One is brownish while the other one is reddish. We had new custom made boucle shades made.
gianni pinna was born in guspini, cagliari, sardegna in 1934. He studied sculpture at art schools in both turin and milan. Pinna is congenitally temperamental. A man with a visceral humanity. Profound and silent like his homeland sardegna. An intuitive artist who transforms his sensibility into visible communication by means of transparency.
these documents, pages, books are in fact, without reconnecting them to the problematic of his precedent cosmic sculptures, a logic continuity.
they represent openness and development of another structural dimension and semantics in his current research. (late 1970’s)
in this period gianni pinna had two solo art expositions in the us. One in 1976 at feingarten galleries and the other in 1977 at silver gallery.
the renown art critic, henry j. Seldis, wrote in regard to these art exhibitions “ and in those aspects of his creations, which he chooses to call “codi-art”, pinna expresses the greatest potential of his considerable creative force”. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
