Suspension lamp 'canopy' 422 designed by francesco rota in 2010. Suspension lamp giving indirect fluorescent light. Reflector and lampshade screen in lacquered metal white, or two-colors. Manufactured by oluce, italy. Canopy owes both its shape and its name to the ceiling rose, one of the simplest and often neglected elements of lighting technology, used to conceal the wires coming out of the ceiling. Francesco rota takes up this shape again but this time he enlarges, ennobles and makes it the focal point of the project, a large-sized metal lampshade, proposed in sought-after colour combinations. Inside the dome, a particular source of light has been inserted, the circline bulb, capable of diffusing a soft, sinuous light into the surrounding environment. Materials and color: metal white variations: available in bronze outside - white inside. Dimensions: d 90 cm x w 90 cm x h 27 cm (285 cm cable) technical information: 1 x max 55w (2gx13) founded in 1945, oluce is the oldest italian design company in the lighting sector still in operation today. Oluce lighting’s design aesthetic is crisp, linear, and decorative. Oluce’s expertise reveals its unparalleled manufacturing excellence which transforms into objects an untiring technological research into the potential of light. Each lamp is a milestone along this journey. Over time, from unusual materials, original designs and new lighting sources ensued revolutionary iconic designs by tito agnoli, joe colombo, marco zanuso, ostuni e forti, and vico magistretti, who since the 50s, have been rewriting the history of lighting. Recent collections reaffirm oluce design and decorative approach, expressed through the signs by italian and international designers such as angeletti & ruzza, francesco rota, nendo, victor vasilev, nicola gallizia, christophe pillet, mist-o and david lopez quincoces. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations
