This 2005 oil on canvas self portrait is by Bay Area artist John Nicolini (1923-2014). He studied at CCAC, earning a BA in Fine Art in the late 1950s. He worked as a commercial and graphic designer, owning a graphic arts firm for 40 years. He exhibited widely throughout Northern California, including at the de Young Museum in SF.

Signed and dated lower right. Good vintage condition. Framed in a restored vintage Mid Century-style wood frame with distressed champagne-silver finish and inner detailing.
