The field … Read more This well accented village carpet shows a madder red field centered by a navy 8 point lobed medallion. The field is edged by a medium blue/teal band which extends to the angular oval elements set within the attractive corners. An especially charming light green highlights the palmettes,leaves and arabesques in the field and medallion. Navy border with reversing turtles. Barbed and veined light blue leaves extend up and across the corners. All dyes are natural,all material are handspun. Crisp colours make for a direct and appealing carpet. There is light wear in parts of the field. This carpet has been cleaned professionally. See less
