Early 1950s ceramic lamp by Guido Gambone—previously documented motif and glaze complete with signature and donkey mark. Superb application of gray-brown-purple glaze to neutral base with highlights to the top and bottom of the characteristic Gambone blue.
This lamp marries art to function: as much an investment as any painting and hand produced by the premier Italian modern potter.
Base measures 4.6 x 4.6 x 14.5”h
Lamp shade included with purchase unless otherwise specified. Lamp shade measures 14 x 14 x 12”h
