Interior lamp designed by coderech in 1970. A structure of semi gloss aluminum covered with screens of treated wood. Assembled using transparent plastic coated magnets. The cister lamp was designed by the architect coderch de sentmenat in 1970 (approx.) as part of a collection of several lamps. It is an in edit design of the architect literally “rescued” from the papers of the architect. Tunds now develops and edits the design with the license and supervision of the heirs of coderch de sentmenat. Materials: shades of treated wood dimensions: ø 41 cm x h 32 cm technical information: recommended bulb (not included): energy saving 23w/e27 / halogen max. 100w/e27 / led max 15w/e27. About the designer: josé antonio coderch (1913-1984) is considered one of the most valued architects in post-war spain. Often described as the architect of modernity, his works are still seen as vivid examples of contemporary architecture and his legacy includes hundreds of listed buildings all over spain. Coderch gained significant recognition throughout his career, winning the architecture fad awards in 1960 and 1972. He also became a member of team x establishing friendships with other renowned international architects. His design creations such as the disa lamp or the polo chimney are also worth mentioning as well as his contributions as a photographer. About the manufacturer: tunds is the firm that reissues the iconic lamps disa and císter created by the architect josé antonio coderch. The lamps disa is reissued in wood and methacrylate, and the císter in the person of suspension lamp, column lamp and floor lamps. Tunds is born from the illusion, the endeavor and the will to develop and materialize ideas. The firm edits designs, owns or ceded, with the restless worry to offer products of quality with a huge range of functionality and simplicity. Pieces that reflect faithfully the spirit, style and especially the original design of the designer that wanted to transmit his work. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
