The light base is made of solid metal in black lacquer and chrome tone finish. The base has a minimalist cross form; the light can be adjusted due to a special screw mechanism in the middle, in height from 51 to 63 cm. The light features the original plisse shade, due to aging with patina, please see images. Absolute rare and unique design item of the 1960s Sputnik Pop Art era. High quality German fabrication in a futuristic design. This light is in its original vintage condition, full working. The light should be only used with such small ball lights or non warming bulbs otherwise the shade can be harmed by the heat of the bulbs. Dimensions: Height 51cm adjustable to 63 cm Diameter 33,5 cm Condition: Good vintage condition, some normal traces of use and patina, full working. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
