These amazing lamps measure 36i … Read more Midcentury Dorothy Thorpe Lucite helix table lamp produced in the 1960s in excellent vintage condition. These amazing lamps measure 36i inches to the top of the lucite finial. The base is a brass that measures 9 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch brass rod that runs through the lucite helix. and the lucite finials are 2 inches high. Extremely heavy and no chips to the lucite. Dorothy Thorpe was a designer born in 1901 and starting working with lucite in the 1940s producing household items such as candlesticks, sculptural lamps, umbrella stands and magazine racks See less
