These amazing lamps measure 36i inches to the top of the lucite finial. The base is a brass that measures 9 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch brass rod that runs through the lucite helix. and the lucite finials are 2 inches high. Extremely heavy and no chips to the lucite. Dorothy Thorpe was a designer born in 1901 and starting working with lucite in the 1940s producing household items such as candlesticks, sculptural lamps, umbrella stands and magazine racks See less
