Original Etching print taken from the book serie 'Voyage pittoresque de Naples et de Sicilie - Saint Non 1781-86' depicting various bronze statues and fragments found in Herculaneum and kept in the Museum of Portici during the late 1700s.
Original etching by the French engravers Pierre-Philippe Choffard (1730 - 1809) and Benoît Louis Henriquez (1732 - 1806).
The print is set in a walnut lacquered wooden frame with a cream colored passepartout.
Print size cm.39x30 This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
