The candlestick holder has seven arms and boasts a geometric but simplistic design. It is made in brass and has the authentic patina of time. The candlestick holder is in good vintage condition consistent with age and use. The foot measures 12 cm in diameter. Lars August Holmström was a Swedish designer born in 1894. He was born in a family of blacksmith and is well known for his works. Among his achievements, he participated in the 1925 Paris Exhibition with candlesticks and chandelier and was commended for his work by the French press. Many of his works can also be found in churches around the south of Sweden, notably around in the capital Stockholm and in Uppsala. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
