This stunning Impressionist-influenced B & Co. (Bernardaud & Co, Limoges, France), circa 1900-1927, footed cachepot is beautifully hand painted in segments of vibrant multi-colored foliage; note the whimsy of the colored feet that coordinate with each hand painted segment. I’ve used it as a centerpiece bowl but it can certainly be a fabulous head turning cachepot in any setting. It measures 8¾” x 5” D/H; interior 8½” x 3¼” D/H; weight 2 lbs. 12 oz.; crafted from porcelain and hand painted with an imaginative broad spectrum of luminous colors on a white background. In excellent condition with minor wear consistent with age. Marked on bottom B & Co. France in green underglaze. A turn-of the century charmer that will illuminate any tabletop in your space!
