These original watercolor paintings on linen are by Bora Bora artist Emmanuel Masson.
The vibrant and colorful paintings capture the lifestyle of the islands. One shows a woman sitting on the beach with palm trees in the background and a basket next to boats for the middle ground. The other painting in the pair depicts a boat named “Matira” for one of Bora Bora’s beaches. Both paintings are signed and dated by the artist. Emmanuel Masson is the son of artists, Jean Masson (French painter) and Rosine Temauri Masson (Bora Bora).
Both paintings are professionally framed with a white mat and dark wood/black frame color. Each measures 47” wide, 35” high and 1.5” deep.
Backstory: On a trip to Bora Bora, the sole owner spotted these painted fabrics flowing in the breeze on a clothesline and purchased them directly from Emmanuel Masson.
