We are offering this fine 19th Century oil on canvas painting. This painting features a well dressed Lady in white gown in a simple but affluent interior with flowers, she is reading and waiting for an expected guest. The painting is signed in the lower right hand corner George Sloane 1896. The back of the painting shows the original framing by James Gills and the Provenance from Jeffrey Tillou, who sold this painting to the previous owner.
Condition: Some losses to the frame.
