We have a large number of these stunning caged … Read more 1960s vintage industrial caged hanging ceiling pendant lamps/lights with original glass. We have a large number of these stunning caged hanging lamps available. We salvaged these from a large commercial plant nursery in france where they had been hanging since the 60s. Sadly they were in a sorry state so we have had them media blasted and clear lacquered, retaining the character but bringing them back to their original state. Made from pressed steel with their original glass domes and hand made wire cages. These lamps are a great visual statement perfect for a contemporary commercial space, whether it be a restaurant, hotel or retail outlet. We love them hung in clusters with bright coloured cable. Each lamp has been cleaned and restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern european ce standard components to bs en 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to bs en 60598. Included: each lamp comes completely wired and ready to install including; 2 metres of stainless steel 2mm diameter wire rope for hanging the lamp (with 2 easy to use simplex grips), 2 metres of fabric covered electrical cable and a ceiling hook as shown. The lamp is fitted with a standard e27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
